The Visa Programme.
Strategic Advisory & Research Consulting Ltd happens to be part of the consortium of specialized partners led by New Vision Foundation with unique expertise and resources required to to ensure effective implementation and long term impact of of the visa programme
The Vision Initiative for Sustainable Agriculture (VISA) is a four-year, farmer-centred programme aimed at accelerating Uganda’s shift from subsistence to commercially sustainable agriculture.
The programme addresses key structural challenges such as limited knowledge, weak financing, poor trade linkages and low technology adoption.
The programme will target both small and large-scale farmers, with a deliberate focus on women and youth inclusion. The programme will be delivered through:
- Expert-Led Trainings
- Multimedia Campaigns
- The Harvest Money Expo
- Exposure Visits to the Netherlands
Together, these initiatives will promote sustainable farming practices, strengthen value chains, and expand market access locally and internationally.
Roles of SARC in the Visa Programme
- Set up and orgaise the Netherlands Pavillion at the Harvest money expos
- Provide specialized technical support in agronomic practices and farmer training
- Participate in joint workshops to share expertise programme events
- Coordinate B2B sessions, discussion forums, and skilling tracks
- Manage exhibitor recruitment, floor plans, and onsite logistics
